Aventure is the product of a talented young designer, who on first coming to London was dazzled by the creativity, diversity and individual style of its people. Although he had learnt his craft in ceramics it was in the urban spaces of the capital that he began to design jewellery, with his first piece as a present for his mother. It was the only jewellery she had ever owned. That was some time back - now we have customers throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, USA and Japan with a track record to prove our designs sell. Jianhui’s unique personal journey from a rural childhood,high in the mountains of Asia, is reflected in his unique design. He adores strong colours and natural forms and his jewellery is abundant with both. Playful and romantic, but with an urban edge. Beautiful, enduring, unique. London is a green city, even if we don't always realise it. I live a 20 minute ride from Leicester Square and a 20 minute stroll from an ancient woodland. I want to capture both sides of this great city And his designs are jewellery with a conscience. He looks for materials that are environmentally friendly and makes sure that the people who supply them treat their staff fairly. Fashion is not a label, it's a statement of who you are. That's why we design mainly for the independent retailer. We work hard for them, trying to understand their needs and making sure we trade honestly.
